I was all in – until the Finale. That was WEAK! Seriously – High School Productions have better Puppetry.. How could Nicotero let that slide? That killed the whole movie. Absolutely Unforgivable.
Keep the reviews coming Mark

I completely agree. The ending was the weakest part. Creepshow should either be funny, clever, or scary. At it’s best it can be all three, but at least it should be one of these. Unfortunately, this episode was none of those qualities.

I hate to say this- but Shudder has been nothing but a disappointment for me. Its junk like this that made me cancel my subscription. I know most folks say they love it- but lets be honest for once- Most of the content on Shudder is low grade direct to video crap, or is available on Amazon Prime or Netflix. Where are the trailblazers like Zemeckis, Landis, Dante, Raimi, Carpenter, etc? Wouldn’t you think they could could do something like an updated Masters of Horror?

I haven’t hated what the series has given us, but I do agree that it pales in comparison to the Creepshow movies and Tales from the Crypt. I agree, some classic directors should be brought in to liven the series up. I don’t mind seeing new talent, but I think the Creepshow name alone should bring in quite a bit of talent. Unfortunately, it seems Nicotero and his crew are carrying most of the weight. Still, there were a few episodes I liked from the original series. The Head, from the first episode. I liked the one with DJ Qualls as well. I even liked the animated episode quite a bit. But I hope the series’ best days are ahead of it.
