I haven’t talked about my own comics for a bit and hopefully, that’ll be changing very soon. Until then, I wanted to report that Zenescope Entertainment made my comic GRIMM FAIRY TALES: WEREWOLVES – THE HUNGER #1 from a skosh over a decade ago available for the first time to download for free!

WEREWOLVES was part of a multi-part crossover introducing classic monsters into the Grimm Fairy Tales Universe. The crossover was wrangled by my pal Pat Shand, who pulled me into writing with him for this event in between my second and third arc of THE JUNGLE BOOK series. The artist for this series was a very cool guy named Elmer V. Cantada. My story was about a werewolf-hunter who would stop at nothing to eliminate lycanthropes from the face of the earth. He packed a shotgun full of silver buckshot and bad attitude to take on a trio of werewolves for this three issue series. Yeah, it was basically the Punisher versus werewolves, but sometimes simple balls-out action, blood, and bullets is enough for a fun time.
